Meta Ads / Google Ads

Since 1997, BookBrowse has been one of the leading online destinations for book reviews, author interviews, online reading clubs, and reading guides. The platform is supported by a loyal membership community that values quality, depth, and a distraction-free reading experience.

THE STORY

Increasing Purchase Volume While Building A Community

Wyatt helped BookBrowse grow their membership and reduce churn through a multi-step advertising funnel. First, he launched UGC-style videos that introduced the brand to new audiences in a warm, authentic way. Then, he retargeted engaged viewers with limited-time offers that drove membership purchases. Finally, an always-on re-engagement campaign reminded current members of great features, connected them to community articles, and kept them engaged with their membership, helping to significantly reduce cancellations.

These strategies led to a major increase in memberships, significantly improved membership retention, and generated over 8,000 newsletter signups.

HOW WE HELPED

 Increase Memberships

1

Brand Awareness

Wyatt produced and launched UGC-style videos across Meta platforms to introduce BookBrowse to new readers. The casual, community-focused tone resonated with our older age demo looking for a friendly place to discuss books and find new things to read. We ensured that the users in the videos were the right age for our customer profile, and we found that these videos  resonated very well with our audience.

2

Retargeting

After generating tons of cost-effective web traffic and engagement with top-funnel UGC content, we retargeted the users who had not purchased a membership yet with limited-time discount offers.

These mid-funnel campaigns created urgency and led to a significant lift in paid memberships and revenue.  Averge CPA dropped by nearly 50%.

3

Membership Retention

To reduce churn, Wyatt built a $1/day evergreen campaign targeting current members with updates about new reviews, author interviews, and reading guides. The purpose of this campaign was to remind users of the value of their membership. This low-cost tactic helped keep users engaged and significantly decreased membership cancellations.
