Aculief is a natural wellness brand that makes wearable acupressure devices designed to provide drug-free headache relief. What started as a simple idea in a founder’s garage grew into a national brand—thanks to Wyatt's strategic digital marketing, viral content, and messaging that resonated with millions.

THE STORY

Growing From The Ground-Up

When Wyatt partnered with Aculief, they were a small, single-product business operated from the founder's home garage. They had almost zero website sales and were generating most of their revenue from large purchase orders at in-person industry events.
 
Wyatt built a new media-focused marketing strategy from the ground up.  He led every aspect of their digital growth, from directing product shoots, creating  viral videos, and managing multi-channel ad campaigns on just about every platform (Facebook, Instagram, Google, Bing, Pinterest, and more...) One video Wyatt created reached over 2 million views, and this along with successful brand awareness campaigns, led to organic coverage by publications such as Forbes, Elle, Buzzfeed, GQ,  and more. Purchase volume surged, and word-of-mouth sales followed.

Within two years, Aculief had grown from a small project to a major player in the Natural Wellness space. Aculief was being featured on daytime TV segments and the phone was ringing nonstop. Eventually, an offer came in to sell the company, and the founder agreed. We did it!

Top-Funnel Content

Wyatt created a series of product-focused videos styled after popular news-style videos of the time. Several went viral, and one garnered over 2 million views. Combined with Brand Awareness campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Google, this  attention pushed Aculief into the spotlight—leading to media features in Elle, Buzzfeed, GQ, The Doctors, and more.

Retargeting Views/Clicks

With strong top-of-funnel traffic from viral content, Wyatt built retargeting campaigns that converted interest into purchases.

Purchase volume increased while cost-per-acquisition dropped steadily. As purchase volume increased, word-of-mouth helped us scale. Seasonal sales and multi-prpduct bundles helped increase overall ROAS.

Product Reviews

In addition to creating great top-funnel content, Wyatt also helped make sure every customer's experience was great by designing insert  pamphlets thanking customers for their purchase and  asking them to leave a review. 

With a product like Aculief, users need validation from  5-Star reviews before they make a purchase.

LONG-TERM

Post-Acquisiton Success

Wyatt’s strategic leadership helped reduce CPAs, scale revenue, and build the momentum that led to a major acquisition. And even after the major sale, the buyer (now known as Infinite Commerce, one of the world's largest developers of e-commerce products)  made sure to retain Wyatt's consultation services, as his expertise was recognized as a major reason for the brand's success.

Together with the new buyer, Wyatt helped launch several new products and expand Aculief into a complete natural wellness brand. Wyatt even designed the packaging for their 2nd best-selling product (an essential oil roll-on.)

Finally, the new buyer asked Wyatt to manage the ad accounts for several more brands they had acquired, including a few Shark Tank products!
